"Frog Recipes"

(Frogs not included!)

I started coming across all these recipes that had "frog" in the name of it, so I thought that I would put them all together.  If you have any to add, feel free to send them in.

Frog Prince Potion

This recipe is cute--I found it at www.kidwizard.com

Ingredients:
8 kiwi fruits
1 banana
2 limes
raspberry or strawberry yogurt
lemonade
cream soda
tall goblets

Directions:
Peel the kiwi fruits and banana and cut into chunks.
Cut limes in half.  Squeeze the juice into the blender.
Put the chunks of fruit into the blender and blend until it's a liquid.
Push the mixture through a sieve -- the back of a spoon works really well for this.  (If a few seeds escape that's ok!)
Add 1/2 cup yogurt to the brew.  Blend again.
Slowly add 1 cup lemonade.  Blend again.
Cut the banana into chunks.  Add it to the brew.  Blend again.
Pour in 1 can of cream soda.  Blend again.
Divide into your goblets and serve.

Pickled Frog

Ingredients:
Large dill pickle
Toothpick
2 small sweet banana peppers with stems
2 whole cloves
10 dill pickled gherkins

Directions:
Cut a narrow slit in the front of the large dill pickle for the mouth.
Cut away a short section of each banana pepper at the stem end for eyes. Do not remove the stems. With a toothpick, poke two holes in the pickle and insert the stems. Then push a clove into the center of each eye.
Use two gherkins for each front limb. For the hand, make a diagonal cut at the end of two of the gherkins. For fingers, make two V-cuts. Attach to body with toothpicks.
For each hind leg, use three gherkins: two for the upper and lower leg, and one for the foot. Attach the leg sections with toothpicks.
